This is Delicate Arch and most of you have seen photos of it as it probably the most recognized natural arch in the world. In the background are the La Sal mountains and I even managed to have a half moon in the sky. Timing is everything.
This iconic location is not easy to get to. First of all do NOT try it in the Summer, (Temperatures over 100 degrees) I did this in October. There is about an 800 foot change in altitude from the parking lot to the arch. You are in the sun all the way to the top and you are walking over what the locals call "slick rock". Bring a good hat and lots of water.
I think the photo was worth all the effort
Gorgeous! What time of day did you take this photo?
Ben there several times, it used to be known as the Old Ladies Bloomers.
This is a unique view and no people at delicate arch congratulation !I bet getting this shot was not easy
