Many thanks. I see that you like the lighter camera's and that's a good thing.
For me, I hand hold my big lenses so I am always ready to capture what nature throws in front of me.
If I have a hefty camera it can help balance my large lenses.
My newest lens, the Sony 600 f4, is designed to be center weighted, with the battery grip attached to my a9, the 600 f4 actually feels lighter than with using my Sony 200-600. If I did not have that extra weight and size in the camera, the rig would feel front heavy and could quickly fatigue my arms.
Good luck and keep on shooting until the end.
