Yes, there is a good one right down the street and around the corner.
Brand name / vintage are useful if you want experience based suggestions.

Can you tell us why you're dismissing Tamron as a repair facility? Understanding that may help us with finding you an alternative repair shop.
I also have to ask because your lens was introduced in late 2016 with a 6-year warranty. If you are the original owner and purchased it from an authorized dealer, that means that lens is still under the manufacturers warranty.
If you are looking for a repair facility other than Tamron, Authorized Camera Repair in Willow Grove PA does excellent work for a reasonable price. Check out their web site and submit an estimate request. They do mail order repairs. I've been doing business with them for several years and they do excellent work and are honest.
Not dismissing them, just explorkng other options
In my humble opinion your best bet is to send it to Tamron.
Southern Photo N Miami Bch, Fl (305) 653-7355
They do authorized repairs for all Nikon, Canon, Pentax etc bodies/lenses. Customers include UPI, API. AFP.
Excellent quality of work & communication on issue/repair, parts etc is great.
I use Kurts Camera in san diego
Kurtz is great (San Diego).
Midwest Camera is also good.
I've heard decent things about Robert's too.
Tamron is a good thing. Nikon USA no longer allows third party repair shops to get parts, so it is annoying.
