ECOLOGY definition: A branch of science concerned with the interrelationship of organisms and their environment.
The BISTI/De-Na-Zin Wilderness supports a small number of nesting golden eagles, ferruginous hawks and prairie falcons. All of these species are extremely susceptible to human disturbance during the nesting season from February 1 to July 1. If the adult birds are approached too closely, even for a short time, they will likely abandon the nest, leaving their eggs or young to die of exposure. Travelers or photographers should be aware that disturbing nesting eagles is a violation of the Bald and Golden Eagle Act and could result in civil and criminal penalities.
If a person could put together a good photo slide show for educational purposes to help educate underprivileged school children who may never get to visit these areas in person they might contact NSF for sponsorship. The NSF has done some good work like this in the past.
Suggestion: go online to get info about BISTI Badlands and surrounding areas. It is quite interesting for some people.

Valid points all. I guess the heavy sarcasm about what the government grant might cover put me off.

Those people from Pennsylvania for example! Wow! I have seen some ugly stuff from them let me tell you!

Of course I did not say "those white Americans!" because many here would take great offense if I had, and rightfully so. Now, if you simply apply that same standard to your remarks perhaps you can understand the problem with your remarks.

I sincerely hope white replacement theory is not infecting UHH!

I didn't say anything about a government grant. I was not being sarcastic.
Sarcasm definition: A taunting, sneering, cutting or caustic remark, gibe or jeer.
You are way "off base" on your comments.

Before retiring I was a software development manager at the biggest bank in the United States. Two thirds of my staff of almost 20 was Indian. They were all highly intelligent, very experienced, and all of them were extremely hard working.Three of them were in the process of obtaining their doctorates in computer science. I was proud to have them on my team. I've worked with many dozens of South Asian software developers over the years and most of them had a stronger work ethic than their US counterparts, who often put less effort into their work. I find your attitude extremely offensive.

NSF $2,500.000.00 to develop a film about dinasaurs to inspire middle schoolers 2021
Check out Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) "Festivus Report"

Well, if it was not an inappropriate injection of politics into the discussion before, it sure is now. You weren't being honest about that.

So, you want people to pay for your vacation? Good luck with that one! On the other hand, I have come to understand that there is no shortage of dumb people in the US, so you just may get a buck or two.

Every major population on earth has it’s share of cognitively below-average and intellectually disabled persons. In fact, if there were no below-average segments of a population, there would not be any above-average either!

Every major population of humans has a portion who function below average, and that includes Canada and the U.S., and so on around the earth. Neither the U.S. nor Canada are unique in this respect. Frank
