I saw that that same range on a western movie - thanks for the shots ππππππ
Just one Western, Susan? Crikey! I can think of dozens of times I've seen those mountains in as many or more flicks. John Ford, Walter Hill, Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott, bunches of other directors, known or obscure, shot stuff around here, and those l'il hills were somewhere in the background. Thelma & Louise, Raiders of the Lost Ark, on and on and on. Not all of 'em were Cowboy flicks, neither. And that's not taking t.v. product ads into account, either; there's been a bazillion of them.

As a way of saying thanx, George
--and likewise to others who've commented, too-- I feel obliged to let you know that #1 shows a view taken from immediately adjacent to the (old, but still very much in use) Moab Town Dump. That place'll make your jaw drop ever lower, but it might not be because of any sweet smelling 'goodness.'
Love the color mix-fire and iceπ.
