Yes, Liz is a great person and friend. Real easy to work with. Known her for years.
Liz and I have a big problem, she gets hired by Fred Herzog to model at my studio. Several months back she and I got into such a discussion while Fred just sat there listing. Hours went by, then Liz looked at the time and told us she needed to get to her next shoot, she was almost late for it across town! So Fred paid her and I gave her $100 for her time and all got big hugs while we raced her to her huge pick up truck. She even backed into my city tote trash can (no real damage, but a dent that I later hammered out, crazy woman driver)> She is so cute, 115 pounds, 5 foot something and drives a full size black pick up! I asked her how she dinged the rear bumper or was that just the 'normal' for all Texas pick up trucks in our state. She rolled her eyes up into her blond locks, I could hear it coming but didn't wait, "So when did you start letting Darrel drive your truck?" She was spitting mad, "He needed to get something and the truck was what made sense. I know, I should have driven it for him. You know you men are just..." To which I said "Yes we are! When I had my truck I found an over sized solid Ballard and backed up into it with the bumper, made a nice ding in it and people stopped following me so close!" I just laughed!
She asked me where it was. That is when I rolled my eyes up into my head and she started laughing. "What do you think?" Was my reply raising my eye brows. "Serena, who else!" she came for a visit, drove from New Mexico and while she was here some ass hole stole it out of the parking lot, broad daylight. Pouf, gone. Impound had it four days later, totaled. So Starena is here all upset, she cried for an hour, "Timmy how do I get home?" And other variations of that theme. I was a jerk and let her go on and on. This was no pair of shoes or an cute outfit! But yes, I handed her the keys to the Ram and told her to take and try it out.
Later I explained that when I got the Nissan Altima the dealer would offer only $100 for trade in value. So I kept the truck and if I needed it I would get insurance for a week and drive it to do things. Man I still miss having a pick up truck, they are super useful!
She stayed several extra days and got a Lear top for the back, "Bandit can ride back there when I go on trips and camping!" Bandit was her doggie, much more than a pet, she loved that dog more than she loved most people. When she came back from the test drive she was super excited. I of course told her she would have to put out if she wanted to have my truck. I got a big hug and she did the woof-woof doggie dance right there in front of the truck to welcome it into her ownership!
Liz laughed at the whole story with that twinkle women get in their eye. "I miss my pick up truck, a lot! But you know what we guys say about you broads, You own most of the money and all the pussy!" She laughed again, then looked at the bumper and said "Never again will he get my truck!" Which is total BS, she once tried to buy a pair of vary good stylish leather chaps from me that I got to put on models, they were marked large and she wanted them for Daryl because he did not have any and loved to ride his motor cycle! Liz has a lot of mother in her and Darrell is the love of her life. God help us all if anything ever happened to him. I gave her the chaps and told her not to get too crazy when she had him try them on and no, I did not charge her for them. That is our Liz Ashley, one of the best, hottest, natural blond bombshells to ever do modeling!
