I had a grand plan to photograph Champaign Flutes and bottle against the fire in the fireplace, but time passed and Red Wine got in. Not going to open a bottle just for a photo (and hangover). Some years ago, I came across an Aussie recipe for a deconstructed burger - basically a salad. Ex the beets, which I can't tolerate, very good - recipe on request. I've posted Cookie Whipped Cream Cake with Nabisco Famous Wafers before. For whatever reason, the last half dozen boxes of wafers have looked and felt fine, but have been broken. Waste not, want not, spinning the Aussie idea, came up with Deconstructed, since you need to have intact wafers to individually butter and assemble. A curse that turns out to be a blessing! My Wife likes CWCC and requests it - some days, just another brick in the load, fussy. This version tastes exactly the same, but quick & easy. Just make the Whipped Cream and feed the wafers into the beater bowl. Consolation prize for looking, the New Years Eve Fire. God Bless y'all and yours, best for a Wonderful 2022!
Looks great, and Happy New Year QD!
