I don't usually post here. Frankly, a bit intimidated by all the wonderful photos. But with the help of UHH people's advice and help, I was able to capture the best photos I have ever taken at a Gymnastics competition. Any comments or criticisms are welcome.

Just watch amputating appendages (toes) ect.
and maybe a little less dof "larger aperture" if possible.

I appreciate the comments. I was previously shooting these meets at very wide apertures. 1.4-2.8. My DOF was so narrow. Couldn’t get decent focus. These were all shot at 12800 ISO, and aperture priority 5.6. The lighting wasn’t awful so shutter speeds were 1/500-1/800.

I'm 99% sure the people that would look at these would be very satisfied with the results . The average person taking photos that I have talked to , are satisfied with less quality pictures then these . I just can't believe that any person can do what she does in the second photo , but many can do it . I have never come close to that much flexibility in my entire life . Tommy
