Wrong. Bacteria is around 100 nanometers. Covid viruses are around 10 nanometers. Stopping one from spitting in your mouth doesn't stop airborne viruses and wearing those silly masks do nothing to stop spray paint aerosols nor much, much, much smaller covid virus. Stats on the spread of the virus prove this and there is virtually no correlation between mask mandates and covid reduction. Actually just the opposite, most likely due to false reporting for profit and political trickery, which has the opposite effect the lies intended. For example, Florida has 1/3 the death rate as New York and never had masking (or shutdown) mandates.

The vaccine is another issue. Whether a hastily developed, under tested vaccine is worth the risk is a personal decision and with all the lies and misinformation spread by the media and politicians it's difficult to make a good decision and should be done on an individual basis based on risk factors for each individual.

For those who may have lost loved ones due to covid that is very unfortunate, the disease can be deadly, just not anywhere near what has been reported. Many people supposedly die every year from the standard flu virus and that too is unfortunate. The death rates, once the false reporting is removed, the covid rate is suspiciously about the same, 2-3%.

"I’ve seen a lot of Covid in the ER recently. With so many people getting infected recently, some folks may wonder what’s the point of getting vaccinated at all? And is there really any value to a booster dose if I’ve had two Pfizer/Moderna or a shot of J&J? My observations:

"Every patient I’ve seen with Covid that’s had a 3rd ‘booster’ dose has had mild symptoms. By mild I mean mostly sore throat. Lots of sore throat. Also some fatigue, maybe some muscle pain. No difficulty breathing. No shortness of breath. All a little uncomfortable, but fine.

"Most patients I’ve seen that had 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna still had ‘mild’ symptoms, but more than those who had received a third dose. More fatigued. More fever. More coughing. A little more miserable overall. But no shortness of breath. No difficulty breathing. Mostly fine.

"Most patients I’ve seen that had one dose of J&J and had Covid were worse overall. Felt horrible. Fever for a few days (or more). Weak, tired. Some shortness of breath and cough. But not one needing hospitalization. Not one needing oxygen. Not great. But not life-threatening.

"And almost every single patient that I’ve taken care of that needed to be admitted for Covid has been unvaccinated. Every one with profound shortness of breath. Every one whose oxygen dropped when they walked. Every one needing oxygen to breath regularly.

"The point is you’re gonna hear about a LOT of people getting Covid in the coming days and weeks. Those that have been vaccinated and got a booster dose will mostly fare well with minimal symptoms. Those getting two doses might have a few more symptoms, but should still do well.

"Those who got a single J&J similarly may have more symptoms, but have more protection than the unvaccinated (if you got a single dose of J&J, please get another vaccine dose—preferably Pfizer or Moderna—ASAP!) But as I’ve witnessed in the ER, the greatest burden still falls on…

"The unvaccinated. Those who haven’t gotten a single dose of vaccine. They’re the most likely to need oxygen. They’re the most likely to have complications. They’re the most likely to get admitted. And the most likely to stay in the hospital for days or longer with severe Covid.

"These are all just observations from my recent shifts in the ER. But the same has been borne out by local and national data showing that the unvaccinated make up a very disproportionate share of those with severe disease, needing hospitalization, and dying from Covid.

"So no matter your political affiliation, or thoughts on masks, or where you live in this country, as an ER doctor you’d trust with your life if you rolled into my emergency room at 3am, I promise you that you’d rather face the oncoming Omicron wave vaccinated. Please be safe."

It doesn't say anything about the current Covid mutation Omicron virus has killed no one on earth, vaccinated or not and whose symptoms are very minor, vaccinated or not.

Also says nothing about all the young people, particularly healthy athletes, that are suddenly having severe heart problems, blood clots, often dropping dead shortly after inducing the vaccine.

I went to my nieces for Thanksgiving dinner and her husband, who did all the cooking, is an emergency room surgeon. No one was wearing a mask and who was and wasn't vaccinated was never brought up. In fact, the Covid subject never came up. That should tell you "all", but it tells me nothing other than there is an ER SURGEON that seems unconcerned about it. Medical doctors have as many varied opinions on all this as everyone else.

Trump, responsible for getting this so called vaccine approved in super record time, thinks the jab is a good idea and you should get it.
He is also responsible for signing the "Right to Try" law into effect where under certain conditions, experimental drugs can be used before FDA approval. Both issues should be non-political, but sadly are not. The result is so much of this crap makes ZERO sense and trying to sort through the lies and gobbledygook is a enormous task. Masks being useless is a no brainer with minimal research and common sense, but the vaccine is more difficult to come to conclusions and everyone has to decide for themselves with the data (much of it fake) available.

We know that your position on masks is absurd and is evidence of your ignorance of respiratory protection. That much is obvious from your obstinate refusal to accept that your mask doesn't have to be capable of filtering out individual viral particles to reduce the covid risk to you and others. And that raises a credibility issue with anything else you might have to say on this subject.

Just because you do not know that Omicron IS killing people, although only un-vaccinated at the moment means your Statement is ill considered and can not change the facts. Luckily in Australia common sense is not dead (yet).

When I made that statement there was ONE reported death from Omincron and that death turned out to NOT be from Omicron. Yesterday, it was reported there were 7 deaths worldwide from Omicron. No info on how many of those were lies however, .000000000000875% of the worlds population is darn close to nothing. Of course, .000000000000875 compared to 0 is enough to shake your timbers, yet 1000's dying as a direct result of an experimental vaccine is no biggie, right? Easy to see why so many have been running around with underwear strapped over their mouths...
