Thanks for hosting, Bob. Our son was hoe for the weekend and he was sick (not Covid) and I think I've now come down with the stuffy nose and scratchy throat. Will have to look some up, but meanwhile I am liking this one I took today with my phone. When I downloaded I realized how much it looked like a woodpecker or Deer's profile.

Golly! You’re right Pat – I like it!

A Mating Pair of Sandhill Cranes admiring their egg that has just been laid!
I put my boat in the water early in 2021 so I could get out on the lake and into the areas of the lake where the Cranes have nested in previous years. I was hoping that I would have a better chance of seeing the adults with their young but never imagined that I would be able to capture a scene like I did in this picture!

Interesting challenge for the new to picture taking bunch. I realized that there is no consistency to what I find interesting, but then again…I made 2 round trips to PA from FL, spent a few days in CO in 2021, and made friends with a horse named Punky Monkey Baby😊

I haven't been diving as much this year as I'd like, but we're going to Seattle next week for an extended stay. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and let us get in some dives. In the meantime, these are my favorites from 2021.

I'd say that this photo of lighting bolt striking the ocean in front of Tiger Squadron pilot Ben Holm on our way to a Veterans flyover on Catalina would be one of my favorites for the year.
