Christmas Choir

Merry Christmas to all the hoggers.
I used my best shower singing voice and did an audition try-out to become a member of the local Christmas choir.
After the audition, I asked the director how I did. He said, "I will have you sing tenor."
"You mean right next to the baritones?" I asked.
"No," he said, "I mean you should sing ten or more miles away from the choir."

I recall once asking a very poor singer at our golf club if she could sing far, far away.
She replied, “I don’t know that one.”
Grrrrr.

I am along the same lines. I am always asked to sing solo.....so low... we cannot hear you

I've always wanted to be a singer in the worst way, barbershop, church choirs. and so forth. Many people have told me that I have reached my goal

I know I have a good voice and my family wants me to save it other wise why would they tell me when we are entering a church the say "Don't sing dad."
