I actually feel humble when looking at the house and am grateful to Howard Janny for building such a beautiful structure in 1895 that provides a canvas for today's community to get the Christmas spirit.
Obtaining the house was pure luck.

My cousins live in So. Williamsport and they drive by your home every Christmas Season. Until this post, the only picture I saw of your home was one outside view. We communicated back on January 1, 2018. I'm Woodworkerman, and the college professor you talked to. Turns out I'm coming to Williamsport on the 28th thru Jan 1 or 2 to visit family. I'm going to certainly have my cousins drive by your magnificent home. And it's so beautiful inside, as well. Many years ago, my great aunts promised me their organ (like yours), but when they passed, their brothers wouldn't allow it. But when I was at their farm (near Beulah Land - up near Cedar Run), I would always play the old hymns on their organ. They loved it. By the way, Jacob Salada, who founded Salladasburg, was a distant relative of my dad. I'm looking forward to seeing your home "in person." God Bless.
