Win10 does not support Affinity Photo 1.10.4 update

Not to be a bit thick, I changed my setting as suggested. how do you upgrade with Microsoft store. I am not interested in buying it again. Or are you still getting it direct from Serif?

Yes, you can get upgrades directly from Serif at no cost, for the entire time you own the program.

Some of you don't understand. I have updated on my desktop PC OK and it fails on my laptop. Something on my laptop is not making happy with AF. I have made many laptop updates in the past. This current update and the previous will not get past "setup". Something they or I have added is causing a conflict. I changed the setting and it still has not uploaded.

Not sure if this helps but my version is 1.10.4.1198. Same as a previous poster. I run Win 10 but don’t remember the last time I updated.

I also follow your update system. When affinity tells me there is an update available I download it from serif directly from affinity Photo and then install. Never had an issue. A fellow hogger had an issue with his update trying to use a GPU which he did not have and he had to edit one line of code. Not sure where he updated from. It wasn't that long ago in you look down the forum

That was I, Drbob. I downloaded my update file from the Affinity (Serif) site, installed the program, but could not launch it. And you're right, I changed one word in a line of code and it worked.
But apparently the other two posters on this thread who had trouble with the update were having different problems.

Got ya. I see now that they most likely were not actually getting the correct download downloaded it that makes any sense. Lol lol Do you enjoy your Dodge viper powered truck? I finally snapped to your handle and read up on it a small amount. Sounds like a hoot. Lol
