Very nice setting and a lot of work! I used to go all out at my house and had the music and everything but as I got older it just became too much for me to continue setting up. You do a very nice job!
Thank you.
I am reaching that point as well, as 40' ladders are getting too heavy to move.
Merry Christmas.

I was asked through a PM to again post some photos of our home as we do it for Christmas.
House built and occupied in 1895 By a multimillionaire named Howard T. Janney.
His photo is to the right of the sitting room fireplace.
His wife Laura lived to 99 years old and died in 1969 on a huge farm of theirs East of Montoursville, PA
We started small then one year we decided to celebrate the beautiful Architecture of the home in a Currier and Ives manner.
Since then we have had tours of the home and every year tour busses come by as well as hundreds of private drive by's to enjoy the lights.
In the summer when working in the front yard I am frequently asked if we will decorate again as so many make it a family and friends affair to come by and take out of state viewers. And some people who have seen it online have come from out of state to see the house and leave messages on the porch.
We enjoy doing it but sadly as I age it looks to be coming to an end as the difficulty of the exterior is getting harder.
1. Front and partial North side.
2. South side.
3. Front Foyer.
4. Living Room.
5. Living Room Pump Organ used to play carols during tours.
6. Sitting Room fireplace.
7. Dining Room.
8. Guitarist playing carols for visitors.
9. Wife and sister playing tour guides as maids of the house (The actual original maid was Sarah Brinks ca. 1899).
Enjoy.

Very festive and cozy, Archi! Merry Christmas!
Very beautiful home and decorations, probably much more beautiful in person. Thank you for sharing your home.
Thank you for a wonderful "Christmas Card" to all us Hogs. Again, I commend you both for preserving the heritage of the house and of your family.

I have to admit that coming up the old red brick road and seeing it on the hill I still have to catch my breath.
Merry Christmas

Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Thanks for sharing this fantastic set. It's wonderful that you share the celebration of Christmas with so many who just want to observe. It must provide great joy for you; it did for us.

Our only pleasure is the pleasure that we provide.
I actually feel humble when looking at the house and am grateful to Howard Janny for building such a beautiful structure in 1895 that provides a canvas for today's community to get the Christmas spirit.
Obtaining the house was pure luck.
My cousins live in So. Williamsport and they drive by your home every Christmas Season. Until this post, the only picture I saw of your home was one outside view. We communicated back on January 1, 2018. I'm Woodworkerman, and the college professor you talked to. Turns out I'm coming to Williamsport on the 28th thru Jan 1 or 2 to visit family. I'm going to certainly have my cousins drive by your magnificent home. And it's so beautiful inside, as well. Many years ago, my great aunts promised me their organ (like yours), but when they passed, their brothers wouldn't allow it. But when I was at their farm (near Beulah Land - up near Cedar Run), I would always play the old hymns on their organ. They loved it. By the way, Jacob Salada, who founded Salladasburg, was a distant relative of my dad. I'm looking forward to seeing your home "in person." God Bless.
