Had Topaz sharpen AI for several months only. Now they say it is expired and need another $49 to continue. I llove the program but thought I had it for at least a year.. Ae they going to nickel every time there is an update regardless if I haven't even used it for a year? Tried to contact by logging into my account , no help there. anyone have any ideas where I when wrong
Thanks from the sodapop
You get updates for a year. It will still work. If you want updates for another year, you need to pay the $49. If your happy with it now & don't care about the updates, don't worry about it, just keep using it.

Wish that wee true. In the middle of a project and all of a sudden am back in trial mode. No way to contact them.
The charged me for it again. Still in trial mode. Down another ^& bucks for an upgrade and still in trial mode. VEry disappointed in this situation. Got Denoise two weeks ago and wonder how soon I will be in trial mode again with that

Hmm, sure sounds like the software no longer acknowledges you as having paid for it? I have Sharpen and Denoise, and every time I launch Sharpen I get the popup "opportunity" to purchase the latest version. However, when I clear out that popup, I can continue as a logged in user. When you open Denoise, click on the Account tab and then License Info. You should see your email address. Have you attempted to log out of Sharpen and then log back in?
Thanks for the reply. Did not get any of the popups you mentioned. Just a message that "this is a trial version" out of the blue. I have it working again by a login opportunity which popped up unexpectedly.. I tried that and now have it now. Don't know that will last until I am surprised with another "trial version "notice.. Until then, thanks for taking the time to respond. UHH is often my first line of defense when all else fails.

I don't have this software version, but shouldn't it have a serial number and / or sign-on credentials. Additionally, don't you have your original purchase confirmation email that could have relevant information to refresh your memory about the terms and dates of your purchase?

Yeah, I'm thinking the system lost you. Another suggestion, if you have the install program, would be to uninstall the version on your computer. Then.... run the install program and attempt to log in. Good luck. More and more I see the inability with software and other services/products that getting a person to talk to is damn near impossible.
You should be able to log on to Topaz website, access your account, view your previous purchase history, and get your license codes to convert your trial version to a paid version that is no longer eligible for free updates/upgrades.
Thanks to all. If only Topaz had your wisdom LOL
Hello,
Can I suggest that you try the link below.
She has always been first class for me.

Easy to contact Topaz via FaceBook, IM them. I did and they got back to me almost as I finished my writing. Give it a try, you just might be surprised. I think that Topaz doesn't like negative writings on their FB page.
I have had a disappearance problem also. Yes, the updates are one year, but the program is life time.
Go to Topaz Labs, support, sign into your account and you can download the plugins that you own and reinstall.
What is happening and why I do not know but I have had that problem with my long-owned plugins. Is it Topaz, is it Widows-10 update, or is some background program eliminating something not used often?
Thanks to all.
Since I have only had the Topaz for 6 months I could not understand why it flipped me back to the trial without any warning. I went to the help page and all there was were suggestions that did not even come close. The contact us button was non responsive. So I googled topaz login and I was able to login but all my account offered was a trial. FINALLY, after purchasing the update that it was relentlessly asking me to do, I was able log in from the actual program-and it finally it worked, I am back in business. Wasted half a day on this, just wish their help was more accessible. I do understand that they are most likely a small company (with a great products) and cannot afford to do that.
PS I love the AI Sharpen, and just purchased denoise, which i great also

Topaz WILL nickel and dime you, every year! That’s exactly why I quit using Topaz.
