Nice one. My wife's favorite bird...
Excellent! The hardest part photographing Chickadees is to get light in their eyes. You got it!
Epic capture Joe... perfect timing... appears that this little chap is actually singing to you!
Lovely composition... sublime color harmonies latent within... Amazing detail in it's plumage...
I'm truly impress with your Sony kit here...
The Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM wide open at 400mm is truly amazing.
As is the skill set of the photographer :)
Thank you for sharing your beautiful petite feathered friend...

Exposure, detail, and contrast are great on this excellent capture. Your image of this handsome bird is well done, as usual with your avian images.

Or to catch them standing still! Good job. They are my favorite bird - a constant cheerful presence at the feeder all winter long.

Love these guys and always a pleasure to have around. Too bad we don’t have them in S. Arizona, but at our Montana place they are always hanging out for the sunflower seeds. I was shown by a 14 year old kid, at least at the right time of the year, if you go out to your feeder and grab a few sunflower seeds, and hold them in your hand, they will snag seeds right out of your hand as long as you stay still. Fun stuff.
This is a great image btw. It all works. I think what I like best is the soft background with matching the colors of the birds. Thanks for sharing! You must have a hell of a feeder set-up.
Gorgeous shot Joe! Well done.
