Simple figure portrait

Same model as the past few posts, just a simple figure shot in BW. I have to be very careful when reviewing the images I have taken to not give myself too much credit as a photographer. When the model is as professional, talented and attractive as this lady is, the temptation to take more than my fair share of credit for the image creeps in! Some people almost can't take a bad image!

... but don't let your modesty prevent you taking some of the credit, even 'simple' shots like this need a lot of work and experience to turn it into a work of art. Congratulations.

I find it interesting that the attitude of the model can be so revealed by the facial expression. Some photos posted on here almost scream "Is this pose OK? Is this what you want me to do? Is my smile OK?" and the strained discomfort shows through.
This simple pose shows a model who is completely relaxed with herself. It is as though there is no camera, no photographer... only the model... and me, the viewer.

Well there is something to be said for lighting, posing, and background as well. You did a great job bringing out her beauty.
