Did ja' ever have to make up your mind...
Think it was Kenny Rodgers on the first pass before Stardom. Couldn't think of what I wanted for dinner, not a good thing. Finally decided on Hungarian Goulash. My own recipe, which I will share as requested. Key thing is having real Hungarian Sweet & Hot Paprika. Worked.
Edit: The Caraway seeds in the noodles s/b added earlier or pre-soaked. The right flavor, but a little crunchy added at the end.

John Sebastian and the Lovin' Spoonfull.

Yep...checked. It was written by Sebastian and appeared on their debut album "Do You Believe in Magic"...also released as a single.
In researching this I found out he also wrote the song "Younger Girl" which was sung by the Critters...didn't know that. However, when I thought about it that song was definitely Sebastian-esque as well and I should have at least suspected that he might have written it.
Flip1948 beat me to it. Lovin' Spoonful. A fitting band name for your post. Final plating looks delicious. Nice presentation as the chefs would say and nice photos.
Quixdraw,
I have a pressure cooker just like that and I use it at least twice a month. It works really well. Your Goulash looks great and I would very much like to make it. May I please have your recipe. Incidentally, one of the first things posted was Shish Tawook, I looked it up on the internet and it is now in our dinner rotation. Thank you for that one also.
This forum on UHH is the first thing I look at each day. It is great! Thank you.

Absolutely, remembered the band, but thought Kenney had fronted for them at one point - wrong in that!

The old pot used just as that or as a pressure cooker is a good size when cooking for two. They are still made and I've been thinking of getting another. Pleased that you are enjoying the forum. I don't have the recipe written down, will get that done and PM it to you. The only Iffy part will be the times, I will guess at them but you'll need to take care the first time.
QD: excellent food and photos.
I especially like the designs on the plates

Thank you! The plates are by an Artist / Ceramicist named Theresa Gong - unfortunately now retired. Sounds strange, but they are fun!
An epicurean tour de force, QD!
My wife is off her silly diet for a while I'd like that recipe too
