the kids would have disappeared in our attic and never been seen again!

They'd have to be making a lot of noise to find them in mine! Thanks for commenting.

Nice. The trunk of the car always worked for us.

Yep! That might work better than putting the kids in the attic.

I find the attic of the spiteful neighbors is perfect since the crying and complaining seems to convince them that they want to move.

That might work. Thanks

I'd leave them in the attic. It will toughen them up for adult life.

LOL! It just might work Jerry!

How does that help if the packages are already wrapped!

Applied before packaging and placing in the attic of course.

If only it had been the packages that were placed in the attic.

Hilarious! Sharing with all my children! (Who are all grown.) This does remind me about our own kids many years ago. We had the same issue of all 5 kids finding everything so my husband put a lock on the door to the walk-in closet. We came home from a party one evening to find that our then 14 year old daughter had actually taken the hinges off the door to get in and snoop. She’s 49 now and the curious nature remains. Lol

Lock them in the trunk of your car and don't let them have the key.
