Set up a feed & water station where I can watch & sometimes photograph the birds this winter in my back yard. At my age I don't plan to go chasing after wildlife in the cold. Maybe I can get them to come to me. Here are some of the early arrivals.
Really nice. Hope they continue to come all winter.
This should keep you busy for a while. Those are nice poses the birds did for you. I was severely chastised by an old aunt once, for identifying a dove as a pigeon, so I won’t repeat that error here. I reckon the others are a dark eyed junco, maybe a pair of house finches, and a nuthatch. Around here, in north Alabama, the nuthatches do not have the orangey breast coloring. Fun to watch them walking downwards on trees. Looking forward to more!

Great set of images!!!!!
Nothing wrong with "baiting" to get a shot, as long as the bait don't show!!
As long as the shot is with a camera!!
Nice shots, Rusty. You've got a nice assorment of sweet little birds.
