With my back turned away from the setting sun …, I was able to capture one of my favorite views of Waikiki … I have posted similar shots as this is one of my favorite spots to shoot from ..

This must be close to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. I was there in September. Very nice image.

Great shot and depth of focus! Reminds me of the time I parked my motorcycle on the coast road and climbed Diamond Head from the ocean to the summit. (Probably all fenced off now!) When I got up there, I looked back and there were signs saying to the effect of "Off Limits, Do Not Enter" etc., but, I had to in order to return to my 'cycle.

I climbed DiamondHead when we were there. Beautiful view of the city from the top. Do they have a zip line installed yet to get you to the bottom faster?!!

No zip line …you get high when on top …, then you naturally zip down to the bottom ..

Got to climb Diamondhead way back when you could take the iron ladder to the pillbox on top. Think we all were wearing flip flops.
