I had 2 companies cancelling my orders during this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, OMD Solutions (formerly Olympus) and Borrowlenses.com. Olympus/OMD Solutions did not provide an explanation, refunded my money and end of story.
Borrowlenses was selling (not renting), the Nikon Fc brand new with a $250 discount! Well they sent me an email stating it was a mistake on their website and the camera was not for sale!
Should I report both to the Better Business Bureau or just relax since my money was refunded in both cases ?
On the other hand, B&H Photo, Amazon & Crutchfield delivered their order super fast. Kudos to them, these are reliable companies.
You can report if you want but I don't think you will get any where.

You received a refund, what did they do wrong?
My luck with Black Fridays has always fallen into one of two categories: No or Bad. I no longer even attempt to cash in on Black Friday "deals." Welcome to the club!
As for the BBB, they are a toothless entity that purports to be a standards body, but they are not. They have no authority over businesses and have only as much meaning as one is to give to them. YMMV.

Take in easy, don't let the sound of refunds drive you crazy.

Did any of these companies cash your money? If so youโre In titled for the merchandise.
I understand your disappointment but neither of these companies did anything wrong.

Get over it and move on.
I totally agree. You got your money back.
The BBB is not going to do anything for you.๐๐๐

Considering the fact that Black Friday offered good sales, and supplies have been limited, they probably just ran out of the items you ordered. Imagine orders pouring in online. Even a computer would have trouble keeping up with demand and supply in a situation like that. That's happened to me in the past. As long as you got a refund, you're okay. Look online for those items, and you should be able to find them at reasonable prices. Consider the saving you would have gotten on Black Friday vs having those things to use for years to come.
Saving money is nice, but having nice things is nicer.

Can you quote the law on that and let us know if that is a federal law, a state law, or a UHH law?
