If that's the case the proper approach would be to do a local adjustment on the hair after the entire pic is neutralized as to correct color.

Or simply stay with the original picture.

Thanks for teaching me a new word!
dryad, also called hamadryad, in Greek mythology, a nymph or nature spirit who lives in trees and takes the form of a beautiful young woman. Dryads were originally the spirits of oak trees (drys: “oak”), but the name was later applied to all tree nymphs.
The nice photo didn't hurt either!

And originally they were evil… not like these lovelies.
The mentioned blades of grass aren't nearly as distracting as the hue contamination caused by the surroundings.

A glimpse of two lovely Dryads, discovered deep in the forest, late Spring 2021.
After a cold and windy hike without the bonus of a worthwhile photograph today, I remembered this shoot. Sometimes, it’s good to recollect warmer weather and fun photographic collaborations.
I wonder what the artist thinks of the corrections?

Excellent question. I don’t think of these comments as corrections. I consider them (a) as reinterpretation of my original work, or (b) boys will be boys.
However, I stand by my original work. It’s a fantasy piece; the clues were in the title, folks.
Discovered = not posed in a studio, no foreground or background objects removed, no artificial light sources employed. The narrative of this photograph is that I discovered this vision of loveliness, deep within the wood.
Dryads = with all due respect to cryptozoologists, I don’t think Dryads exist in Nature, only in Mythology. So, they can be any color they please. Just like Mermaids. Or Bigfoot, for that matter.
Springtime = natural daylight, attenuated through fresh Spring growth, is a wonderful thing. And yes, there’s more than a hint of yellow and green in those shades. I encourage all those who believe that the color balance and saturation was somehow “wrong” to get their models out of their studios and into any deciduous mixed woodland they can find, as often as possible, under all light conditions. Even the Blue Hour in deciduous woods is magical… apart from the mosquitoes.
In Summary, thanks to those who gave positive feedback, apologies to those who felt I should have manicured some of the foreground (but I disagree), and congratulations to those who reinterpreted my original work. I delivered this fantasy commission to my Client, who paid us in full and is delighted with the art work.
