I saw an old black and white movie when I was quite young, I believe it was called "The Defiant Ones". One of the characters sings a song with a line that goes, "Bowling Green, sewing machine". For some reason, Bowling Green stuck with me and when I had the chance to visit, I did.

At any rate, Bowling Green is home to the Corvette Museum which is famous for Corvettes and a sink hole that swallowed a large portion of its showroom. What follows are a few photos that do not do justice to the museum but I hope you will enjoy.

Thank you for the visit. Having never been there, I've always had an interest in viewing the museum. Imagine all of those gorgeous cars being swallowed by the sink hole !!

Nice shots. You’re right that photos don’t do this experience justice. We were there this Summer and it is really something that every car nut needs to see in person.

I like the photos and would love to visit, but just wondering, why is it called the Corvette museum?

It’s hard to believe the extent of the damage. Some of the cars were beyond saving and are on display. They look like King Kong used them as a whack a mole hammer.

As many times as I've driven a semi past there, they just don't have parking for a 73' long combination. ☹️
Its called the Corvette Museum because it does have Vetts, and, its right next to Vette assembly bldg...Talked to a friend, he visited about a year after the sinkhole. Museum was on the verge of closing due to low visitors. He said visitors had increased a lot. However most of them wanted to see the hole in the ground!

Nice set of museum cars. The Crosley is most interesting. I had completely forgotten that they ever existed. Thank you for that photo.
