I posted the original full color image in the Photo Gallery section. I also posted it and a black and white version in For Your Consideration and someone suggested this spot color style. Iβve done it it a blue wallet on a bench and had fun using it here.
I like thisβ¦really makes the rose popβ¦and the off-center positioning works.
This is a 10 compared to a 6 before. Great job, what a difference.πππππ
Might just crop some off the left.π€ So much empty space. π€

Thanks, Jim! I hear the applause!!!
I could definitely crop it as I had been in the earlier versions, but for this round I wanted to share my 16:9 wallpaper version.
It should be SPOT COLOR - thanks for already knowing that!

Thank you! A little coaching from you and a few others definitely inspired me to keep at it.
Nice job of using the Selective Color technique!
Your best rendition of this shot. Nicely done

I like this a lot, in part, because of the way off-center crop, vividness, sharpness, and very dark and non-distracting background. I would, however, make it a little brighter and add a little more border to the top. Thanks for posting.
Beautiful work, Craig! Creative. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Thanks! Since weβre not magicians I can reveal my secret - I used the magic wand in Photoshop CS3.
