I've been looking into the camera axe, but there is a bit of cash involved. I've managed to get some collisions without any timers, but it takes a lot of time (and maybe a 6-pack).

Thank you. I prefer using milk, because of it's thickness, things tend to move a little slower (not much). After 3 hours, 1000 shots, a mess to clean up, and a sore back, I usually get about a dozen "keepers". The camera axe (or similar equipment) will makes things easier, and are definately on my wish list.

Yes , I have done this, in fact I still do, though I no longer use the arduino, I use Camera Axe, and at 180$US it's good value for the money, and you can do far more than just water drops. Do you make circuit boards, if so I can give you the appropriate circuit diagrams. And one point I notice in the article you linked too. You do not have to use the shako valve any air, water, oil valve will work Fine. Ernie

hi erniehatt
yes I am able to make my own pcb so I would love the circuit diagrams please .
Ive already sourced the valves ,Im using 12volt Chukas which are working brilliantly with the Arduino which I program to drip at one pec second for testing purposes.
my next job is to build a syphon bottle which apparently keeps the pressure constant at the valve at any level in the bottle.
thanks for looking and all your helps

Cakey

Cakey give me a day or two to sort lay them out, as I normally don't worry about schematics, I just layout the boards.I am not familiar with that valve, but make sure whether it is a gravity fed or pressure fed, no need for a syphon if it is gravity fed. Ernie
