Sending multiple images

Looking for suggestions on how to send multiple (say, in excess of 10) images to several recipients. What prompts this question is following a family gathering I have about 28 images taken there that I would like to send to 6 recipients. An e-mail comes to mind but listing 28 images on an e-mail is sort of time-consuming and besides,
I don't know if there is a limit on attachments to an e-mail. I thought of putting them in a thumb drive and sending the thumb drive to each recipient but have never tried that and don't know if that would work. Would appreciate suggestions on how to do this but keep it simple, at 86 I don't have all of the computer savvy most UHHs appear to have.

I put mine up on One Drive and send those involved a link to the album.
That way they can view and/or download.
Email is typically limited to 20-25 Meg for the ENTIRE email (header, body, and any attachments).

I use 'wetransfer' (wetransfer.com), . 2 gig free then a modest fee after 2 gig. I rarely send over two gig. I have more than that I break the files and send twice.

I use the free version of Dropbox and place photos there. I send invites to link to the Dropbox to the recipients I want to see/access/download the photos. Do not put the original photos in the Dropbox folder. Use copies in the event you give someone edit rights and they modify the photos.

I make the images as low a size as possible and 28 should be no problem to send to everyone in 1 email.
I do this frequently, they all just want them for instagram, FB and other social media anyway.

As stated above for viewing on screen reduced resolution is no problem.

I use 1500-2000 pix on the long edge and 70% quality jpegs. It works great for emailing and viewing on screen. Most people won’t know the difference, (pixel peepers excluded).

Lots of people don't understand or don't care to understand how to access a link and download images. You'd probably be better served just resizing your images to about 1MB or less in size and sending a few emails to everyone, with maybe 10-image groups until you've sent all images as part I, II, etc.

This post explains why and how to resize your images using a few example software. To get to that 1MB size, use the 2048-pixel resolution and maybe 65% JPEG quality.

Recommended resizing parameters for digital images

I'm guessing that "modest fee" isn't really that modest?? LOL

Create a google album. You can then share a link to the album or simply send to your contacts if they have a gmail e-mail address.

I just switched to Dropbox, but Google is great, as is We Transfer. I create a New Folder in Dropbox, after which I Share via a link.
The photos stay in the desired order. With Google, upload your pictures or album to Google Photos. You can make an album and put in desired order, then Share or send via a link. Works for me, and I'm over 86.

I have a similar situation with about 60 photos and a video of our family reunion. I plan to upload to Dropbox and email them a link.

Yes definitely three thumbs-up for Wetransfer. For some years I have been sent up to 32 pages of a magazine every few months, to translate. The senders use Wetransfer and only recently did I start to use it myself. Very easy to use!
