How do I email a group of photos from Lightroom Classic?

It seems Google is blocking Lightroom photos to be emailed the past month or so...
So I exported to my desktop into a folder, and emailed it to my friends. It takes WAY LONGER,
but was happy to get the photos sent out. It gave me a block to check i.e. one person or multiple people.
NOW it doesn't show that option anymore... and no one can open the photos I send. These are family/friend
kind of photos, and usually are between 12 to 40 photos...
Is this Googles way of trying to get us to buy something that I don't know about? I hope you guys can help me.
Please respond in simple terms, a method I can do to get my photos sent out. Thanks so much. Nancy Galligan

If it is just to let them view the photos, you can paste them into an Email. That works every time for me - I know I've sent half a dozen at a crack no different than a note, more photos might work, can't recall the limit. When I try to attach files to an Email the system locks up, been that way for years on my machine.

Emails are typically limited to 20-25Meg in TOTAL SIZE (depending on the provider), including text, header, and ALL attachments.

I find that using one of the file transfer services, like One Drive, is the simplest option.
I'll put the images on One Drive, get a link to them, and email the link to people.

It doesn't take many photos to exceed the 20-25 megabyte limit on email. I also upload multiple photos to a One Drive folder and send a link to anyone I want to share the photos with.

Lots of people don't understand or don't care to understand how to access a link and download images. You'd probably be better served just resizing your images to about 1MB or less in size and sending a few emails to everyone, with maybe 10-image groups until you've sent all images as part I, II, etc.

This post explains why and how to resize your images using a few example software. To get to that 1MB size, use the 2048-pixel resolution and maybe 65% JPEG quality.

I have the same problem with Google. Google considers LR unsafe when it tries to log into my email acct. Hope someone has an answer!

Learn how to send folks a link to your photograph collection in Lightroom. It's really fairly easy. Best of all, the images are sent in a way where the photographs being sent will not create a size limitation as email transmissions often do. They can also be downloaded by the recipient if you allow downloads. Check out Lightroom's help section. Good lucK!

I always shoot in raw and the files are huge! I just shot about 140 images and export of them to a desktop file as JPEG‘s, out of Lightroom. Total size was about 700 MB. I use the free version of, “we transfer” And sent the whole file flawlessly in a matter of a minute or two. I got a response from we transfer acknowledging that the receiver had downloaded all the photos. Really it’s a pretty simple process.

Does the gmail user agreement still give Google rights to every photo that moves across their servers? I know it did many years ago when I first started using gmail, and is one of the reasons I stopped using it about 10 years ago. Just curious.

If I am going to email photos, I export them from Lr as a Jpeg at no more than 50%. That should give you files around 500MB. If not, lower the %. I than attach these files to my email and send. Best of luck.
