Thank you all so much for your kind comments. Yes, I do love to artfully render my captures. Most of my work is shot in 3-5 HDR exposures. I have taken the time and effort to study techniques and have written some of my own actions. I am by no means a Purist. That is my choice. I respect others choice to not manipulate their photos. Jeff(PWhisperer) cannot tell me he does not do any tweaks to any of his model photo's Check out the model photo with her head in the water. Gee she doesn't have any pores. With that being said, I am an amateur, I don't want to lose the passion and fun of photography by having to live up to other people's standards and go professional.
I couldn't agree more with you , do what makes you feel good. I just started messing around with HDR and i love it . Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the first one, but it leans to the left, and I'd take out the light above the door. That's just my 2 cents worth.
Mike
What L lens are you using?
i love the perfume picture!! it is so feminine and beautiful!!
I have done some HDR too. Some I like others I'd like to do over.....You asked for some of our best and no-one has taken you up on it. I'm not smart enough to be intimidated so here are some of mine....would love to know what you think.

I love all three, but # 1 is my fave. Great composition on it--talk about "leading the eye into the scene," this is classic.

One of my more "artful".
Another.
your artful is awesome, makes me wish I was Spider Man, I would climb to the top.
love your photos, I can feel the storm
Love your spiral staircase. Can you give me some technical info on your settings and post shooting techniques, please?
hi--some nice pics.. try to be aunatural myself..
only critique I have is #3,,personally I hate fences[powerlines],so I would have tried to shoot over/through the fence so it didn't show..do your thing---they look good..---joe
# 1 is nice and I can imagine a fairy princess climbing those stairs or coming down them to meet a prince.
#2 is really nice because of the illusion of seduction so closely related to perfume. This one is my fave
#3..is well sorry to say just fake looking and in my opinion a poor subject for what you are doing.
As you can see everyone feels differently about each image...The way I see it...when you move so far from reality with your image there should be an element of fantasy inspired and your first two capture that.
Finally, I dont usually comment on spelling in the body of a comment but as a header it really should be correct...surely you mean Strut???

HDR...Wow! I really don't totally understand the skill. I have heard so many mixed opinions about which software to use. The difference in exposure between the first and last layers? I am a big proponent of knowing the detail work the photographer put into the capture ie: f-stop, speed, lens etc. I find it difficult to find information of how the photo was shot... My eyes enjoyed the photos!! maybe that is the bottom line????
