I'm Russell. From Orlando, FL originally, but have been in North Georgia for about 5 years now. My uncle (poppiej) referred me here after him and I were discussing what kind of camera and lenses I was looking for. I came in and got busy in the classified section and am very happy with the people I've interacted with during those transactions.
I'm returning to shooting after some time away. I'm excited, nervous, and happy to be back behind a viewfinder! I wouldn't consider myself a good photographer, but I've had some unique access in the past which has led to some neat shots (in my opinion). I've enjoyed reading critiques others have received and look forward to tapping the knowledge base here to help myself grow in my art.
Here's some shots from before. I'm still testing and learning with the gear I recently acquired, so that will come later. Thanks for having me!
Just having some fun in the woods one night

Coming out of a rain delay at Barber Motorsports Park
I like this one because it conveys emotion without a face.
After shooting a lot of college games, I got used to the pace and expected play area of NCAA teams. The NFL players speed and distance covered was surprising at first. This play really caught me off guard, but I think I got lucky in the end.
I shot more football, but baseball is by far, my favorite sport.
The Master Legend is Orlandos superhero. You can find him downtown at night, walking girls to their cars, delivering supplies to the homeless, and possibly enjoying some free beers at various establishments.
I did shoot weddings for a short time. Here's my favorite shot from one!
Lastly, I'll leave you with a view of the dock at Lake Baldwin, in Orlando, FL.
Thanks for looking!
