DON'T process it as black & White! The color will still be good, you only have one chance at this. Call 570-586-1555. Rapid Photo Imaging Center Inc., Clarks Summit, PA will process it, print it, and scan it. Turn-around for me was around 3 or 4 weeks. They are very personable and communicate well how to order and what to expect.

I'll mention here that if anyone has old, processed negatives and slides that need conversion to digital, they can be scanned or macrophotographed. You can do it yourself. The attached PDF explains how, for those with macro lenses and dSLR or MILC cameras.

That's a precious memory recouped how many years later? Wow

These were taken in the early '60's with no special storage, just in a box in the den or cellar for 60 years and processed in June, 2021.

This photo reminds me of my older brother and father in the 40's who took about 8 empty gallon paint buckets with lids and fastened them onto a wooden frame about the size of yours then took it out to the Gulf of Mexico and my brother got onto it to see what would happen.

He quickly found out!

The current took him out to sea. He had to paddle as hard as he could to save himself!!! If he would have tried to swim or if the lids would have come off he would not have come home!

Thanks for reminding me of this family tale.

Bill, I would enjoy your offer and it would be something others would make use of also.
