I went to an organised fireworks display at our local pub, it was a free event to try and bring the community together and hopefully reduce the amount of fireworks that people may have bought for their own gardens...... Its been years since I went to a display and years since I've actually looked forward to a bonfire night..... First time trying to photograph fireworks ever, my Nikon Coolpix A1000 made it really easy and now I have so many more ideas for next year 😊❤️

Fun, isn’t it? I had my first time shooting fireworks this fall, using a Z50. I found that the initial explosions totally blew out the exposure, and my best shots were those just following the explosions as the embers fell. I also captured some good shots pulled back a bit to include some of the foreground, to give a sense of place. Like you, I am looking forward to doing this more!
