Nude no. 127
This is Melissa Troutt. I shot her back in oh, musta been 2007, 06, something like that. She might have been the first model that I shot in the Hide House studio. She was a cool person and a very nice model. I still see her on Model Mayhem and she's still doing her thing. Good for her.
I have a few shots of her that I will share along the way.
Nice work on both your parts.

She's a lovely lady. It would be interesting to see her today in the same setting and pose.
I think the sofa detracts from the model. Too many eye grabbing lines

I don't mind that, just the black stripe. Interesting lighting where you managed to not get any shadows.
Yes, I've shot with Melissa as well back when she was going to college in upstate New York. I worked with her in NYC and Baltimore as well. She's an extremely attractive and wonderful model!
Be well! Ed

Ya I know, but I wasn’t about to kill the mood to remake the sofa. Sometimes you take what you get.
Great model, nice even lighting. I am going to fall on the side of agreeing that sofa and backdrop (and to me even the pillow a bit) are distracting and detract from the overall image. My eyes sort of dart around the image and with a model that looks like her, that should never happen LOL. Pose-wise, I think the angle she is laying sort of emphasizes her hips, thighs and knees and de-emphasizes her chest, shoulders and head (was a wide-ish angle lens used?). That could be what you were going for, so just tossing that thought out there. My mind wonders what this would look like in monochrome so the conflicting colors/patterns of the backdrop, sofa and pillows are demolished a bit.
I rarely reply, but I’ve got to say she is fantastically beautiful. She looks like Ava Gardiner. Love to see more.
