I've just started looking through this challenge but I'm marveling at the variety and imagination that people go through to both take and come up with these pictures. That's what makes these challenges so fun and interesting.

Here's some photos I thought I would try. First one is Eastern Washington as the clouds were dissipating and the sun was starting to come out. I actually entered a cropped version into a "Look Up" contest. Second picture...just trying to do something a little different (oh well).
Our Rhodies are really big so I was actually looking up to take this one. Again, the last one was something different than maybe what most people had. The judge always seemed to like the unusual.

LOL. I know what you mean, Joe, and that's probably one
of the things that continuously amazed me on this trip.
So much gold everywhere...especially inside the churches...
...and then you get a little bit away from the city, and you
see people living on a shoestring...just seems like we have
always put more money into "worshiping" our God, when in
fact, I'm pretty sure He'd prefer we used those resources to
help our fellow man...(one of several reasons I gave up
on becoming a preacher....)

Nice POVs, Leek, and very clever. BTW the Challenge topics, per admin, are under "contests, periodicals etc" but they really aren't contests at all. No one judges the entries. The challenges were, years ago, started as a means of "challenging" folks to learn different functions on their cameras and various aspects of photography (light, composition, POV etc). Different folks volunteer to host them. I am including the current "Challenge Calendar". Topics are posted the night before scheduled with a link to the next posted in the current challenge. It is wonderful to have you. (Nov 22-24 is Shoes with Judy Juul)
