Excellent series, creative and sharp.
Absolutely gorgeous! I was there on a Tauck Tour about 7 years ago and daytime at the site was short, but the evening cruise on the Seine afforded nighttime views of it in its full colorful shining glory, and I got some good shots, some with the light beaming out from the top. Isn't it amazing how, almost wherever you are in Paris, you can see it!
Your photos bring out the full beauty from many angles ...so beautiful!
Excellent portraits of this iconic structure. Now you will have to go back in 2024 when the Eiffel Tower will be displayed in gold for the Olympic Games.
#1 IS the one. Great shot!!
Very nice … both the perspective and the composition!
Very, very nice series. I would think that would also be a great town to walk about in for street photography.
Really nice set. The PR staff for the Tower would love to see these.
Hello again, Rob. Thank you for your comments on my photos of the Tokyo Tower. Sounds like your trip to Tokyo and other places in Asia was really memorable. Concerning the photos I shared here, that trip was just a week long business trip, and I found myself with a weekend day off. The photos you see that are overlooking Tokyo and the tower were taken from the Disney building near the American Embassy. That building has a rooftop Disney experience that was worth seeing in itself, but the best part was the views you could get from that rooftop. Again, on your end, great shots of the Eiffel Tower! While in Paris, my goal was to shoot the Eiffel Tower during the day as well as the blue hour. Timing and location were a challenge but for the most part, I was pleased with the results. Tried to get some different angles. Always experimenting, always learning.
beautiful shots of it, rob...looks like you were up to the challenge.
All nicely done. I like the first one best.

You are correct. Early one day we just walked the streets. Love the wide roads, bike paths, outdoor cafes, people, building architecture, bridges and riverboats. Great city. We found the people warm and friendly.

Interesting. While there on a tour, the guide informed us that while they're calling it 'gold', it actually comes out about the same color as always.
