Sony A6500 batteries

I have a couple of A6500 bodies and about 8 batteries. I am experiencing a very rapid drawdown of battery power, even when the batteries are stored in a pouch outside of the camera. Is anybody else experiencing this? And I have tried both Sony original batteries and after market batteries. Does anyone have advice on which are the best batteries out there for the A6500? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Best Buy haS a battery charger and battery called "Fuel" It last longer then other batteries.

My NP-FW50 batteries will gradually loose their charge even when stored outside the camera, but it takes several months for this to occur to any significant degree. I also have a mix of Sony and after-market batteries, and have discerned no difference in performance between the two.

I set my camera to go into stand by mode after 2 minutes of non use. I also have the rear screen turned off unless I hit a pre assigned button. Saves loads of battery power.
