I used a Chris Packham trick to photograph the underside of the fly agaric toadstool - I placed a mirror on the ground underneath the toadstool and photographed the reflection.
Fly Agaric
Fly Agaric
Peaches
Arum Lilies
Now if I can keep that 'trick' in my mind for the future.
Hmmmm what did I have for breakfast today ?

Very nice series! Using a mirror is a neat idea! I'll be trying this. Thanks for sharing your photos and for sharing the tip.
Couldn't quite see what you are drinking. My guess, Amstell.
I believe #2 is amanita muscaria, or fly amanita, one of the psychedelic/poisonous 'shrooms, so revered in the 60s and 70s by time and space travelers. Very nice photo! I'm remembering a Moody Blues concert years ago... "Timothy Leary's dead, no no no, he's outside looking in"
Love the toadstools.Nice clarity, color etc. The lilys are great too.
Lovely shot of the Fly Agaric John. Fungi is a favourite of mine but don't see many Fly Agarics around here. Much favoured by Shamen of old, the trick is to use the skin but not the flesh as it'll turn you yellow! Actually don't even do that as they can make you quite poorly.
Not Amstell but Stella Artois!
