Testing out this camera recently. It's a nice lightweight walk around camera that has nice features. It also has a 24-360 zoom lens. It only weight 13.1 Ounces. 20.1MP 1"-type BSI CMOS sensor,F3.3-6.4 24-360mm equiv. zoom lens. The last 3 images were shots taken on a recent roadtrip to Virginia and North Carolina.

Nice but I will stay with my Panasonic/Lumix DC FZ200 and its 2.8 25-600 lens.

I use a Sony RX100 m3 and I am happy with it even though I dont have anywhere near your zoom capability. judging by your pics I would say you've found your camera. Really great shots. Have fun.

Tdearing, pardon me, but you're not talking to me, yes? I haven't shown any of my pictures here 'cause can't deliver the kind of quality that's (thankfully) common here. Nothing to do with my camera, of course.

Ha. Sorry about that comment meant for the poster - and I'm sure your photos are great - certainly better than mine.

Thanks, I'm currently testing it against the new IPhone 13 Pro Max. There was a lengthly discussion on the Hog recently about the Big Boy Camera's versus the Smartphones. Hands down, the Lumix and the IPhone do not compare to these cameras. But, if you are looking for something light to carry and you can take a decrease in image quality, then the IPhone and maybe the Lumix is the way to go. In addition, they are fun to use. Both are just good enough and that's all that matters to me.

I was using a Canon G9 as my “go to” compact. But it’s zoom was limited and the small sensor didn’t render well in low light, IMO. I got the ZS100 primarily for its 1-inch sensor and I’ve grown to really like the camera as my “go to” compact. I have it with me wherever I go. It’s wide angle of 9mm is wide enough (25mm equivalent) and the zoom gets out there for 95% of my needs (10x zoom). I have to force myself to get the G9 out and exercise it occasionally now.

I have the Sony RX100 M7 and I really like this camera. The 24-200mm (eq.) zoom is plenty for me, and the f/2.8-4.5 lens works well. I like that it can fit into a shirt pocket. One of the advantages to these small cameras is that you can have your entire kit in one small bag. And they take pretty good images, too.

Great camera - great pics. I'm marvelling at the IQ of these pics from a 15x zoom. Even when it's a Leica lens.

I agree, I've taken what I believe to be some of my better shots with my Samsung Note cell phone camera, and I believe the handwriting is on the wall as to the future being the cell phones. By far the greatest money is on cell phone R&D and they are quickly gaining ground. I posted a while ago that it wasnt so long ago that I bet pro photographers preached that digital was nothing but a toy.

I got the ZS100 before I ever saw the 200 advertised. I use it often. The main feature is the 1" sensor, much better than the 1/2.3" in many bridge cameras, and it fits a (large) pocket.

Can't find any details of this camera anywhere? There is a Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ2000 but that has a 25-480 lens. Maybe a couple of typos?

I think they are referring to this one.
