I am curious how well the owners of Peak Design shoulder straps like them or is there something you find that works better.

I have had one for years. The system works well for attaching and Unattaching a camera to the strap. I have purchased extra “buttons” but have never needed to swap out the original ones that came with the strap. The whole system is very durable. I am very pleased with Peak Design.

I have used one for about four years and it has worked out very well. Very easy to switch cameras with a minimum of fuss.

I love mine, and it is very easy to adjust while you are wearing it. However, some people don't like them because when you adjust them to a shorter length the doubled over area doesn't stay flat and creates a loop. It is not an issue for most people but it might be for you. I think it may be more of an issue when used as a neck strap rather than as a cross body strap. I am very pro Peak Design but you should be aware of the positive and negative aspects of the design so you can make an informed decision See the attached video which details this.

That's what I've been using for the past 5 years. No complaints- easy on and off. I have bought extra buttons but have never switched them out.

Bought one for one camera a few years ago, and bought one along with the new camera (gender reveal/birth announcement will likely remain private for now) the other week.

Also bought an Op-Tech shoulder pad, something I am likely to never be without going forward.

I purchased a Peak Design strap about two years ago and then another one for my wife. As stated above it is easy and quick to disconnect the fastener tabs. I have also purchased their Capture & Clutch devices. You can use the neck strap along with the Clutch hand strap if you desire. I still use a heavier Op/Tech for my heavier gear but I don’t really think that is necessary. The tab disconnects make it possible to only use one strap on multiple cameras saving storage room in your bag. The straps are very comfortable but they do fold oddly as described earlier but it is not a major issue.

I bought one and returned it. Each time I turned the camera to portrait mode, the strap blocked the screen, and was awkward to use. I sent photos and videos to the folks at Peak Design. They were extremely helpful but were unable to resolve the situation. I now use the Op-Tech that I removed from an older camera. I had a similar problem with it, but I keep it attached to one eyelet and bought a small op-Tech tether that I use as a safety. It works very well. The folks at Op-Tech were also extremely helpful and assisted me with this set-up, and told me exactly what components to use.

Easy connect/disconnect
Great for carrying cross-body
Useless when shooting, especially indoors - just gets in the way
Awkward to fold & store

I have a Peak Design leash for every camera I own, with the exception of my Crown Graphic. ;-)
They all do what I need, so I have no reason to even investigate alternatives.

It is a system that works well. If you just want one strap, then there may be a a more comfortable one out there.

I like the hand strap and have the shoulder one too. The shared "buttons" for connecting are nice. I like to take everything off if needed, and you can do that fast. Equally fast, you can move between things. I have the buttons on big lenses, bodies, pods etc.

I use them for both of my cameras and am very pleased with their ease of use and their durability.

Of all the straps I own I like Peak Design the best. I recently purchased an UPStrap and like the strap but their attachment system is not as nice as Peak Design's.

I really like my strap (and camera bags and tripod and clip)! Easy to use.

I have found the best strap to be the UpStrap - XX + MD Release Size. The quick release means I can disconnect it easily for extended tripod use, as in a studio situation. This strap does not slip even on a nylon shell. I have 4 of them.
