This was a 9 day event with 3 pit-stops in different cities prior to releasing their top 50 BBQ restaurants list. We attended the one at Stanley's Famous BBQ in Tyler, Tx. I decided since this was my first trip, since going on Oxygen and using the walker, that I wouldn't take my 5DIV.
This was also the first time I enjoyed an adult beverage in over a year. This is the Kentucky Krush. According to the menu it's a refreshing easy sipping cocktail. Served on the rocks, Jim Beam, Gran Mariner, Bitters, splash of OJ and Ginger Ale. It was an interesting drink, a little too bitter for my taste. Next time I think I'll just go with one of the Bourbon Flights and water.

I'm pretty sure the above mentioned drink had a lot to do with me forgetting the correct order .. picture first then eat!

Mexican Street Corn and a Taco! The corn was fantastic and I only took one bite of the Taco before I remembered the picture!

This Rib was fantastic!!!! No sauce needed! The wood it was smoked on, I think it was pecan, gave it wonderful flavor.

Just had to throw in a picture of the lovely bartender and well stocked bar. For a first trip since my health deteriorated it was a good time! Hope y'all enjoy.
