I took this shot, I like it, but I don't like it. What is wrong with it? I haven't done anything to it, except stare. Thanks Al On my sceen the colors are much richer and vibrant.

IMHO, I think it is just a matter of contrast needing to be increased. This is a beautiful shot, nice composition and focus. See attached. All I did was increase the contrast.

I agree with the contrast thing. Deff gives it more character and life. One other thing is...when shooting flowing water go with a longer exposure, like 1/10 or slower. It will give the water a fluffy look.

I like the effect of the water, but I find the composition confusing. You could try cropping to improve the composition

Maybe it is busy. I would have used faster shutter speed and caught the water more. May crop to the larger boulder on the right side and leave out the opposite shore line then get the contrast going. That is the kind of thing I like, but definitely use your eyesight for what you like.
