Falling behind for Halloween.

I was only able to get some preliminary images made, but the tests went well. I have some more planned for the week and the installations will be progressing for more installations. For now I am extremely happy with the corner stage under the tree with the plate glass mirror. A few with VADA before she got called away on a crises, bummer!

Things that make me glad: I'm glad there is enough room in this world for all kinds of people. I'm glad we are not of the same mind when it comes "art". I'm glad we have freedom of choice in what we look at. I'm glad that the definition of pornography is so broad. And, I'm glad you were not one of my photography instructors at Brook's Institute!

I have a lot of respect for that photographic institution Brooks out on the West Coast. Great school and their BDE (Basic Daylight Exposure) guide is one of the great tools, I have used it many times in basic and advanced photography classes. One should keep a printed copy in the camera bag, it replaces many light meter and exposure issues and helps with creativity for image making. I have given vary good commercial photographers a copy of the Xerox copy and then months later e told that they were truly amazed at just how accurate the exposure guide was in guiding their exposures in difficult situations.

Brooks like Rochester Institute for Photography (Kodak supported) are probably the two best teaching schools for practical and applied photography in the country, or even the world. Of course I took the other path, like RISD (Road Island School of Design) or more the notorious UNM (University of New Mexico). Those are the cutting edge institutions that produce the crazy types like myself. As the youth say, 'it's all good'. Or "Different strokes for different folks".

Just have some fun with what you do. "Catch Time, Make Art!"

Oh boy Mr Timmers I love your "controversial" stances, and the stances of your models. Always look foward to see how far you've pushed the boundaries. Keep it up. What happened to "one a day"?

I've had a series of health issues. In and out of hospital. seems that Veins Insufficiency likes to send small gifts to my brain resulting in strokes. Damn legs!

Now what ever you do don't tell my nay sayers about this image, they will think I have lost my a-moral compass!

Model is Nicole Damon and yes it is a real coffin, she works for a funeral home.

alawry, what a guy. Yes Timmers the trouble maker, Mr. Pathfinder. And I do such weird junk like that series The Three Monkeys. I'm honored that someone(s) got the hint to post more than just one photo and from a collection showing a body of work for better or worst.

It's what the Hog lacks, a collection of images that helps us to see the persistence of vision from a single worker. One night stands are not vary illuminating, it is a body of work that helps us to understand the vision that a worker has to offer that is important.

I'm reminded that some on here may not know some of the history that drives this particular forum on the big Hog. Here in old San Antonio Texass you find such unique opportunities for world impact, and not just remembering The Alamo and the Republic of Texas. Back when the internet was getting geared up, before porn was all over the net, there was that vary naughty girly site called Garage Glamour. It was there before Model Mayhem was on the net. Of course Playboy was on the net and just about every Fortune 500 group. And there was no real girly sites with scantily clad and necked women. Yes there was Roland Gomez of San Antonio Texas with his Garage Glamour.

Guess what, every single Fortune 500 organization, including Kodak, Polaroid, Ma Bell and any other group you care to name wanted to throw millions at Rolando to control advertising on Garage Glamour. Why? Because GG got more hits and more traffic than any other web site in the world!

Amazing isn't it. Nude women was the driving force and you know what, every single web master and web designer and builder knows this. So of course the Hog has a naughty section. The necked girl section is what drives the revenue and it is just damn true 'sex sells'.

So I am there driving the revenue of the Hog, it is just how it is dear hearts. So rage against the naughty of the internet. Call it porn all you like, scoff at the naughty that I put up here (all with in limits of course, the really naughty stuff goes to Deviant Art and Fetlife) you see, I got over all that Nazi hate garbage (hugh?), that Joseph Goebbels guy was a Nazi yes, but he was a vary bright guy (PhD from a German University, damn egg heads!) and he wrote books and created modern propaganda. He knew his subject and how to apply it.

Me, I don't give a fig about his politics or his loathsome notions, like Aleister Crowley I will read and listen to what smart people tell me and learn from them about the world of men.

The internet is an oyster, you just need to learn how it gets shucked and enjoy the out come it provides!
