Your road less traveled is a winner! Lovely landscapes.

It passes the Golf course and the Sportsmen's Club. Pretty amazing, a few miles along you reach the top of a big hill and there it is! I had just never gone out far enough, no reason to do so.

QD, your landscape photos are always a gift to city dwellers.....these are no exception! Excellent as always

Many thanks, glad you enjoyed them. Lived an a few major cities in my time, couldn't do it anymore. Got used to the wide open spaces.

That is exactly why I fell in love with Montana!

AZ is no slouch either, just dryer. I always found Arizona very picturesque when I visited.

Great shots, great scenery, and that, sir, is why it’s called “Big sky country.” Nicely done.

Four versions. Had a bunch of Car business to do in town today, and some time between appointments. Killing time, drove further than ever before out a road often traveled. Grabbed a burger and Sweet Tea first. had the D3 with old AF Nikkor 80-200 1:2.8. Lunch and look! Always amazes me, even after a long time living in Montana, how frequently you come across a magnificent view without a home in sight.

Beautiful open country. Nice shots.

Quixdraw, thanks for the lovely views. The vast open spaces make us wonder what the early settlers had to endure when crossing the country when heading west. I imagine one could have been heard to say as they plodded along in their covered wagon, "So...how far is it to the next Walmart?"
