A cloudy, damp kewl day-about 44 F, lite Southerly breeze tide just going out. Not many birds evident while we were there. All shots were taken at 100 yards or further away-one of those days! The eagles flew around a bit but did not stir-up the usual reactions as not many birds were in the vicinity.
The first Mallard shot has this guy flying around quacking up a storm!
The eagle shots are interesting to me because of the background sky! No replacement, additions or subtractions; just a few adjustment sliders were moved! The sky was really interesting!
All those Wigeons! These guys were hanging out about 105 yards distant. Not a pano!
The drake and hen Mallards were in a small pool that fills at high tide. Molt complete, I thought they looked beautiful in that setting.
D850, 500pF, 1/4000, f 8, ISOs 900 to 3600, +2.0 EC on the eagle shots. No CPL-handheld by arthritic fingers! Yes some pp and cropping did occur.
Download and enjoy!
