I am sipping an Irish whiskey as I type. Some of my best abstracts were done with the help of Mr. Tullamor's Dew. Thanks again for your support
Enjoy. When I was in grad school I cut back on my drinking because it interfered with my studying, and not in a way the faculty appreciated. I'm now retired (i.e. tired again) and my alcohol tolerance is significantly reduced from its former glory, but I still enjoy a bit of Scotch whisky from time to time. Mostly double malt. Generally as a celebratory libation. Gin and tonic more regularly (once or twice a week)(the quinine is for "medicinal" purposes). Beer or wine with dinner (or occasionally lunch with friends).
Thank you all for your assistance, especially DirtFarmer and CHG_Canon. The computer re-designating the external drive letters was exactly the problem. Got it changed and everything works fine again. If I ever meet any of you, the drinks are on me.

It is wonderful to get such expert help here on UHH! So happy this was easily resolved. 👍👍 Makes me wonder why Adobe’s “Tech Support” couldn’t figure this out for you.

I'm glad you got it working again. I am really surprised that Adobe couldn't figure this out. I've had this happen to me and figured it out myself but I've been working with computers for a long time and the one thing I learned early on is about drive letters, paths, etc.... If you tried Adobe with the chat feature, I am wondering if you allowed them permission to take control of your computer to see if they could figure out the problem. I had them do this for me once when I did an upgrade from one version of LR to a new one. My video drivers were not compatible with the new version and Adobe took control, went to the web site for the video card I have and installed the latest video driver then the latest Microsoft video hardware driver and all was well after that.
