For a long time I wondered if I had a style of my own, but after I quit wondering about it, I realized that I leaned toward Minimalist, surreal and environmental portraits. I was looking for something else and came across a 3x5 print that I made in the mid 70s.
Nice shot. Many of us in the West have been intrigued with the combination of barbwire and ancient fence posts. What new kinds of details moving forward? Lots of opportunities. Keep pushing.
This photo is great in its self, but if you pull the past to the now-digital-future by photographing this photo, then you're opening the door to many possibilities, crop, negative image, sepia, and so many others. We should all look at our old photos to find gems. Lots of info out there for photographing and/or scanning old prints.
https://www.subchaser.org/photographing-documentsI recall my amazement of how a faded B&W Polaroid print was resurrected by using digital adjustments of a scan.
I like it. Would rather the shot be rotated to the right a tad, but post shot it’s not always possible.
