Yes, I often disagree with her on particular issues but she is a true patriot, something that is hard to say about most national figures these days, especially democrats.

She is a liberal, more in line with the likes of Manchin than the Republican Party, I would imagine the biggest difference between she and Manchin is that Manchin is a bit more influenced by special interests, there are things that Gabbard believes in that most conservatives would reject, I respect her because as far as I have seen she is pretty reasonable (common sense) and brutally honest.

Agreed. But if she puts the country first over her party in her perceived interests, I would contend she does not fit in as a Democrat.
