This is a common little garden moth, but I don't know what it's called. Maybe someone can ID it.

I don't think a bee's wing can flex like that even landing in a tight spot. So I suspect that's the rolling shutter effect when using the electronic shutter, however I don't see the exaggerated motion blur that exists with the rolling shutter.

Thank you very much for your comment, Mileagemaker. I assume you are using Olympus gear. Most of them were shot with the 40-150mm, f/4 Pro with or w/o the 1.4 teleconverter. However, #'s2&3 I was experimenting with the 300mm, f/4. I really like the 40-150 better as it is easier to handle and focuses closer for these shots. It's a good substitute for a Macro lens. Aperture mode. Natural light. Most were shot at ISO 2000, f/11, in a burst mode of 3 shots. The last one was shot in ProCapture Hi mode using the 40-150mm at 150mm, ISO 3200, f/6.3 which resulted in 1/8000 s. It was shot a 30 frames/s. Hope that answers your question.
