I was very privileged to be able to take some air to air pics.They were among the most difficult shots i have taken as i had my back to the pilot ,and the vibration was very noticeable They would have been better if i had used a slower shutter speed but as this was a once in a lifetime opportunity I wanted to ensure at least some of them were sharp.

Excellent shots. I agree fast shutter was the right way to go. They are obviously flying so not so important to convey speed or motion through blurry props etc. Envy!

Great photos! I doubt that many people get a chance to take air to air photos of such classic aircraft. Thanks for sharing!

The pictures are very nice.

It is pretty easy to add motion blur on those with a background. I reviewed a video on doing it a couple of days ago. I don't know if it would make sense with an airplane shot but might be interesting to try. It would help make the airplane pop. As would a little sharpening and brightening relative to the backgroud.
