When I took this the first person to comment mentioned her eyes showed adoration for "Her Human".
My little Tara, her Daddy was an Irish Shorty Jack Russell and Mama was a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. She took after Daddy in more ways than one. She was just coming up on two months old and a bit over 2lbs when we got her from a neighbor. She was the runt of the litter of 5 but by 3 years old she was the biggest of the bunch at 18 lbs.
The weekend after Thanksgiving she will be a dignified Lady of 12 years. NOT! She thinks "dignified" has something to do with digging a hole to catch a mouse or lizard in the yard or flower bed.
Canon 6D, Canon 70-300 @ 100, 1/200 @ f/6.3, ISO-100
Hand held in a mix of sun and shade - the background is reflections off the swimming pool water.
That is a wonderful portrait of a loved family member. Well done.
